KCL’s printing services complete the wide offering of KCL pilot plant. Effects of modifications made, e.g. on the pilot coater or calender can be studied with our versatile heatset web offset, sheet-fed offset and inkjet printing lines.
KCL printing machines correspond fully with the technologies of commercial print houses. The main differences to a commercial print house are higher level of trial reliability and wide analysis services. Trial reliability and repeatability are based on:
- Well-planned trial programs utilizing appropriate test printing methods
- Printing personnel that has several decades of trial printing experience
- Controlled environmental conditions
- Online data combined with wide range of laboratory services containing all standard print quality measurements as well as several special measurements
On top of that we are able to customize trial programs and print layouts for specific needs of each customer, and also support with very fast trouble shooting and complaint handling cases.
